Health, Wellbeing and Care Hub

About

The Health, Wellbeing and Care Hub (HWCH) is a brand new purpose built clinical facility, based in the Knowledge Gateway Business Park of the Colchester Campus at the University of Essex. It is led by a team of health professionals, delivering public facing services to the local community, utilising student workforce to deliver this clinical care, as part of their placement requirements. The HWCH focuses on meeting gaps in current service provision across Essex and Suffolk, tackling health inequalities and offers virtual services to enable national and international support to those with complex health conditions. The HWCH is working closely with academic staff at the University to develop and submit research grants that focus on clinical research that will impact and influence future statutory and commissioned services.
